Allie is a multi-racial individual of Black and Jewish heritage, who hails from the picturesque region near the foothills of the northern section of the Cascade mountains and Cedar River Watershed. The land she grew up on has been historically stewarded by the Snoqualmie Tribe since time immemorial. From an early age, Allie's deep-rooted passion for safeguarding and nurturing the limited clean water resources in her community became evident.
Following her college education, Allie embarked on a successful career in the tech industry, where she dedicated five years to providing invaluable human resources business partner services to multi-million dollar organizations. Her expertise and strategic support proved instrumental in assisting these companies in navigating the complex landscape of human resources management. Allie's time in the tech industry further enhanced her ability to analyze complex organizational dynamics, implement effective policies, and foster an inclusive and thriving work environment. Drawing from her rich experiences in both the tech and environmental sectors, Allie brings a unique and comprehensive perspective to her endeavors as she continues to champion sustainable practices and advocate for the responsible stewardship of our natural resources.
During her formative years, Allie had the privilege of working alongside her father, Cedric, gaining invaluable skills in land management, carpentry, and plumbing. Complementing this practical foundation, Allie pursued technical rainwater harvesting training with the esteemed organization, Dirt Corps. This organization is committed to democratizing green careers, fostering environmental well-being, community engagement, and sustainable economic practices throughout the Puget Sound region. Furthermore, Allie honed her expertise under the mentorship of Kat's Rain Gardens and Cisterns, a renowned landscaping company.
With her diverse background and extensive training, Allie is equipped with a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience in promoting responsible water usage, conservation, and ecological balance. She remains steadfast in her mission to protect and steward the precious water resources within her community and beyond.
